gtk:widget-sensitive (object)

object -- a gtk:widget object
setting -- a boolean whether the widget responds to input

The accessor for the sensitive slot of the gtk:widget class gets or sets the sensitivity of the widget. A widget is sensitive if the user can interact with it. Insensitive widgets are "grayed out" and the user cannot interact with them. Insensitive widgets are known as "inactive", "disabled", or "ghosted" in some other toolkits.

The effective sensitivity of a widget is however determined by both its own and its parent sensitivity of the widget. See the gtk:widget-is-sensitive function.
