gtk:text-iter-is-end (iter)

iter -- a gtk:text-iter instance

True if the iterator is the end iterator.

Returns true if the iterator is the end iterator, i.e. one past the last dereferenceable iterator in the text buffer. The gtk:text-iter-is-end function is the most efficient way to check whether an iterator is the end iterator.
