gdk:cairo-set-source-color (cr color)

cr -- a cairo:context-t context
color -- a gdk:color color

Sets the specified color as the source color of the Cairo context. The gdk:cairo-set-source-color function has been deprecated since version 3.4 and should not be used in newly written code. Use the gdk:cairo-set-source-rgba function instead.
