gtk-action-new (name &optional label tooltip stock-id)

name -- a string with a unique name for the action
label -- a string with the label displayed in menu items and on buttons, or nil
tooltip -- a string with a tooltip for the action, or nil
stock-id -- a string with the stock icon to display in widgets representing the action, or nil

A new gtk-action object.

Creates a new action. To add the action to a gtk-action-group object and set the accelerator for the action, call the function gtk-action-group-add-action. The function gtk-action-new has been deprecated since version 3.10 and should not be used in newly written code. Use the g-action interface instead, associating it to a widget with the gtk-actionable interface or creating a gtk-menu widget with the function gtk-menu-new-from-model.
