g-file-new-for-uri (uri)

uri -- a UTF-8 string containing a URI

A new g-file object for the given uri.

Constructs a g-file object for a given URI. This operation never fails, but the returned object might not support any I/O operation if the uri argument is malformed or if the URI type is not supported.
