gsk:renderer-realize-for-display (renderer display)

renderer -- a gsk:renderer instance
display -- a gdk:display object that the renderer will be used on

The boolean whether the renderer was successfully realized.

Creates the resources needed by the renderer. Note that it is mandatory to call the gsk:renderer-unrealize function before destroying the renderer.
