Package: cairo

Function cairo:pattern-create-rgb

Lambda List

cairo:pattern-create-rgb (red green blue)

Arguments

red -- a number for the red component of the color
green -- a number for the green component of the color
blue -- a number for the blue component of the color

Return Value

The newly created cairo:pattern-t instance if successful, or an error pattern in case of no memory.

Details

Creates a new cairo:pattern-t instance corresponding to an opaque color. The caller owns the returned object and should call the cairo:pattern-destroy function when finished with it. This function will always return a valid pattern, but if an error occurred the pattern status will be set to an error. To inspect the status of a pattern use the cairo:pattern-status function.

The color components are floating point numbers in the range 0 to 1. If the values passed in are outside that range, they will be clamped.

Notes

The numbers for the arguments are coerced to double floats before being passed to the foreign C function.
