gtk:text-buffer-text (object)

object -- a gtk:text-buffer object
text -- a string for the UTF-8 text

The accessor for the text slot gets or sets the text of the text buffer, without child widgets and images. The text must be valid UTF-8. Use the gtk:text-buffer-get-text function to retrieve a range of text from the text buffer and the gtk:text-buffer-get-slice function to include widgets and images.
